'Black and white' is very fashionable at the moment, and our black parchment is perfect for tracing with white ink and then either embossing or painting with white paint or ink. It is the same weight of paper as the normal parchment - 160gms, so is heavier than vellum, and as it's printed on one side, when you emboss it will show up pure white, not a grey colour. The best way to use it is side up and trace in either white ink or pencil (you can see through it without a light box) then either paint or emboss. If you are embossing, it is best to emboss on the right side as it is impossible to see what you are doing from the other side.
